Opening ceremony for new plant in Czech

forteq has officially inaugurated the new production plant in Most/CZ and plans to significantly grow manufacturing activities

forteq Czech is part of the Swiss based multinational forteq Group, manufacturing precise plastic components and assemblies, mainly for Tier1 suppliers in the automotive industry.

The construction of the plant with totally 15’494 m2 began in autumn 2018 on a green field in Most-Velebudice. forteq employs around 150 employees at the location in Most and more than 700 employees worldwide.

„I believe that forteq will have something to offer to the people living in Most,“ said the mayor of the town Most, Jan Paparega, who was present at the opening ceremony taking place on September 20, 2021.

„The plant in Most is the largest and most modern facility within forteq Group, and the headquarters of forteq has plans to further expand production in Czech,“ said Milan Macháček, the company director of forteq Czech.

forteq Czech moved from the industrial zone in Kopisty to the new premises in Most-Velebudice. Most people in the Czech Republic can still remember that the plant in Kopisty used to appear in popular television series like „Most!“.
