The Board of Directors of the forteq Group has appointed Lucie Toscani as the new CEO with effect from 1 August 2022. Aged 52, she holds a Master's degree in Finance from the European Business School in Paris and has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. After assuming a number of global management functions, Ms Toscani – who is a dual French and Italian national – held the CEO position at the German automotive supplier Veritas AG and at DODUCO GmbH.
“With Lucie Toscani, we could win a proven automotive specialist with a remarkable track record and excellent leadership qualities”, says Anton Affentranger, Chairman of the forteq Group’s Board of Directors. “We are delighted to have Ms Toscani on board to drive our strategy forward in a challenging global environment and to help us shape the automotive industry’s technological transformation.”
CFO Andreas Moser will continue as acting CEO until Lucie Toscani takes up her new position. Since the beginning of 2022 the previous CEO, Rune Bakke, has focused on managing the global sales and engineering organization and on the continued development of forteq Czech. He remains a member of Group Management.
