Key Acct Manager

The Key Account Mgr. is responsible for reinforcing a solid and trusting relationship between key customers and the Company. He or she will be expected to understand the customers market positioning as well as their future trends.

Qualification:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in business development within automotive industry (knowledge of injection molded parts/processes a plus)
  • Proven track record of growing sales within an organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to develop, assess, and identify new business possibilities
  • Lead organizations competitiveness in the plastic products market
  • Creative, Innovative, and methodical approach to process
  • Must have an active passport and be able to travel within North America and Internationally

 

Responsibilities:

  • The main role is to promote and sell the forteq precision injection molded products within North America
  • Aligned to customer needs, you will promote forteq as the solutions innovator to increase the turnover in USA
  • Reporting to the Director of Sales NA.  In connection with the sales director take on the following tasks:
  • As a business development leader for North American, generate and manage new leads for the US
    • Support by setting up meetings, promoting our innovative products and building relationships with new potential customers
    • Research emerging trends, direct marketing activities, and manage existing alliances
    • For your given accounts, be the US local primary resource for all support and needs
    • Organize visits (meeting with customers, booking and logistics) with executive teams to support global business
    • Understand and formalize the needs of customers (commercial and technical)
    • Negotiate with customers, prepare, and send quotations
    • Follow up of the customer’s satisfaction
  • Create Sales forecasts to support budget/planning
  • Ability to continually develop skills and adapt to new technologies and techniques
  • Must have an active passport and be able to travel within North America and Internationally.
