Additionally, this person will be expected to understand and analyze the overall market conditions and recommend to the organization how to tie the market conditions to the customer needs to forteq’s product line. The Sales Manager will actively contribute to the realization of sales objectives together with Sales Director and Engineering Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a strategic planning along with the Sales Director to improve the results of current customer product portfolio and to leverage that business to expand into new product lines within the customer group.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements.
- Lead cross forteq activities such as annual business plan reductions, LTA’s negotiations, as well as VAVE oversight to ensure consistency among all forteq group.
- Monitor and Supervise any quotation located in different region in order to have a global price strategy for defined customer. Take the lead on a few global customers on pricing and strategy together with Europe and China
- Responsible for customers’ satisfaction and customer claim management.
- Act as the main escalation point for customer issues requiring resolution support.
- Work with Engineering, Sales and all other departments in order to ensure that all customer needs are meet.
- Develop contacts and relationships with new customers to sell products, introduce new product lines in order to assure sales growth and achieve internal Business Plan targets.
- Understand Cost model from the plant and translate to a customer pricing

- Must be fit in IT tools i.e Powerpoint, Customer database etc.
